FAQs

Q. What is a fetish club?
A. A fetish club is an event that is held, often regularly, where lots of like-minded kinksters and fetishist can attend and feel comfortable and safe to indulge their fetishes and kinks.  It’s actually not as scary as you think, and especially for Club DVS, we encourage an inclusive, tolerant, respectful and considerate environment, and an atmosphere of friendliness and fun.  If you’re a newbie or first timer, we invite you to take a look at our Newbies page, where you’ll find lots of information and helpful advice.

A. Yes, although our dress code very accommodating. The Club DVS dress code is explained on the Dress Code page.

Q. Where is Club DVS held?
A. The location of the venue can be found on the Location page.

A. Yes, there is on-street parking but it is a bit limited. Arrive early to ensure you find a good spot!  Address and directions can be found on the Location page.

Q. How can I get home after midnight?
A. Club DVS is held at The Flying Dutchman, which has a 24 hour bus right outside, that quickly accesses the new 24 hour tube.  Details for this can be found on the Location page.

Q. Can I arrive in street clothes and get changed when I arrive?
A. Yes, and there re many people who do this.

Q. Is there a changing area available at the venue?
A. Yes, there is room to get changed but there is not a dedicated changing room.  You may also use the bathrooms to change, although please bear in mind there will be others hoping to use the bathrooms as well.  We suggest you arrive early if you wish to change, as it is much easier for everyone.

Q. Is there a cloakroom?
A. There is a free cloakroom area.  This is not monitored, so please don’t leave any valuables in coat pockets, etc.  Whilst most kinksters are an honest, considerate and open bunch, this is an event so we cannot take responsibility for anything lost or stolen from the venue.  Please keep an eye on your personal effects, just as you would in any public event.  If you lose something please contact the venue directly, they have a lost and found.

Q. Can I take photos and video clips at the event?
A. No, not even selfies.  We value discretion and therefore have a NO PHOTOGRAPHY policy at Club DVS so that our patrons feel safe and secure within the venue.  We all know how fun photos are, so we do have official photographers occasionally in attendance, or you may ask one of the House Staff to take a photo for you against a wall, as they are aware of what is acceptable and what is not.  Anyone outside of the official photographers and House Staff who are caught taking photos or video footage will have their phone confiscated until the images/clips are deleted from the device.  Repeat offenders will be ejected from the event, and may be blacklisted.  Please be respectful of people’s feelings on the matter of photos.

Q. I am a single female, will I be safe attending your event on my own or with a girlfriend?
A. Yes, absolutely! We encourage solo and female groups, regardless of orientation, to come along to Club DVS as we aim to present a safe, inclusive, respectful space for you so that you feel comfortable to attend.  On the night we have friendly, helpful Ambassadors on hand to chat to, who can also assist in orchestrating introductions and connections, so that you don’t feel alone or self-conscious, and there are plenty of friendly DM’s (Dungeon Monitors) and House Dominants taking care of proceedings.  Don’t hesitate to have a chat with anyone wearing an armband, they are all very approachable!  For information on appropriate and acceptable conduct, please take a look at the Protocol page, and there is also an information page for Newbies.  And if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable, please speak with one of our House Staff immediately.

Q. I am a single male, will I be allowed entry to your event?
A. Yes, absolutely!  Unfortunately there is a stigma related to single males attending fetish events, so we will simply say that as long as you are respectful of the etiquette, and dress according to the dress code, you will have no issues and you are very welcome to attend. A. Venue and event age restrictions of 18+ apply, and we recommend if you look younger than 25 then it would make sense to carry your passport or drivers license on you.

Q. Is there a guest list?
A. No, entry prices are reasonable and discounted advance tickets are available through the ticketing system, or also on the door.  See the Tickets page for details.

Q. Will I get to play if I attend?
A. There is never any guarantee of play at any club or event, all play is entirely up to the people who attend.  Whilst we have House Dominants in attendance, they are not paid to attend and will play at their own discretion – they volunteer their time.  If you are looking for guaranteed play, we suggest you look into visiting a Professional, or you are welcome to enquire directly with our House Dominants if they offer the service you are looking for.

Q. I couldn’t attend and I bought a ticket, can I have a refund?
A. Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for non-attendance.  If you find you’ve bought a ticket, you can pass it on to someone else prior to the event – we will need proof of the transfer if this is queried though.  Alternatively please contact us by email to discuss, you can find these details on the Contact page.
